The hit BBC funny was last on displays in 2019, but previously this year co-writers James Corden and Ruth Jones verified it would certainly return in December for one last Xmas unique.

The collection is set in between Essex, where Mathew Horne’s personality Gavin is from, and Wales, and started in 2007.
Over 21 episodes, viewers complied with the ups and downs of their lives, and those of their buddies Smithy and Nessa, played by co-creators Jones and Corden.
The collection was mainly shot around the community of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan – consisting of many of the scenes that are set in England – and has won 2 Bafta TV honors in 2008 and a Nationwide Tv Honor in 2010.
The last Xmas unique in 2019 also scooped a Nationwide Tv Honor and the Must-See Minute Bafta in 2020, which was elected by the general public, for the minute when Nessa suggested to Smithy – and followers have been waiting since to listen to his reaction.
